DMZ - DMZ & "When I Get Off"

DMZ were a punk rock band formed in early 1976 Boston, Massachusetts, strongly influenced by 1960s garage rock.
Just over one year later, in April 1977, the band went into the recording studio with Craig Leon (who had produced the Ramones' first album). Four songs from that session were released by Bomp! on a seven-inch vinyl EP, Lift Up Your Hood.
DMZ was later signed by Sire Records and went to New York City to record their debut album. The album was released in 1978 without much success and by the end of the year the band had splintered.

Band members:
Jeff Conolly - vocals
J.J. Rassler - guitar, vocals
Peter Greenberg - guitar
Rick Corracio- bass
Paul Murphy - drums.

"DMZ" by DMZ is their first and final studio album, released in 1978 on Sire Records and reissued in 2004 on Sepia Tone.
