Koro - Speed Kills +


Koro were a hardcore punk band from Knoxville, Tennessee, formed in 1982. The life span of Koro was less than two years and the band split up in 1984.
Koro took their name from a culture-bound syndrome delusional disorder in which a person believes their genitals are slowly retracting into their bodies. This ailment is common throughout Asia.

Ron Funnel - bass
Bill Baker - drums.

"Speed Kills +" is a compilation album by Koro, released in 2006 on Sorry State Records.

Tracks:
1-11 LP Speed Kills, remastered and released in 2006
12-19 7" 700 Club EP, self-released in 1983
20-51 rehearsal session.

Notes:
1983 recordings which were intended to be released on their first LP , but the record was not pressed back then and the songs were distributed on cassette among friends only.
None of the rehearsal session tracks have titles.
Tracks 20-34 are from a previously unreleased rehearsal tape and the other tracks are from an alternate mix of the same rehearsal tape.
